Reading made easy by linking visual with aural to help with the formation of words!
Take a look at how this kid is able to read using the concept of phonics.
“Okay, we get it. Phonics is great but what does it mean to read with phonics?”
1. Linking visual with aural
Phonics basically teaches your child to associate each alphabet with a sound (also known as phoneme) so that your child can form any word when they read it. For example, the letter A is represented by the sound /a/.
2. Learning step by step
Firstly, your child will learn the sounds that each alphabet represents. We start by introducing the most common alphabets found in the English vocabularies, which are the letters S A T P I N. They serve as a basis to form the foundation of reading and writing.
Your child will then learn to form and blend the sound of the letters in words. For example, s-i-t. Lastly, your child will be able to read unconventional words that has tricky spellings such as b-ur-g-er!
3. Making learning fun and exciting!
We believe in the concept of phonics but we also believe that learning should be fun by integrating exciting songs, engaging stories and a whole lot of action!
Our Sonic Phonics programme mirrors exactly that. Your child is able to grasp the concept of phonics easily with our songs and stories.
